This is a Web Server log analyzer tool.
This is a simple program that helps parse default access.log file written by the Apache Web-server. The log data is then converted to XML document and XML output analyzed. The statistics collected in the access log files of the web server then could be used to display useful statistics about your website. Apache web servers, commonly used for setting up web sites, write a lot of useful statistics about http requests (visits to your sites). They are not human readable directly. This tool helps convert the data into a format that is easily readable and would prove useful to users. The tool has a user friendly interface. Most users should find it easy to use. SmartLogAnalyzer parses default access.log file written by the Apache Web-server. The converted XML files created from this parsing action is used to create an output XML file.
The readable data is displayed in the interface. The statistics that are displayed indicate the IP address of the browser making the request, how many visits were made from the machine, page view details, bytes transferred as a result of the request and if the visit was a first visit. Some settings that are necessary include specifying the input log file, the output XML file, etc. To help make the data even more readable, you have an option of converting log times into local computer time. Another option is for pulling up the XML file for preview. You could also preview the original log file. When you are active in the website business, this could prove to be a handy tool, this is a good one.
